Hello, I'm Tim Mills
I belong to Jesus Christ. I am not ashamed to testify that God has a Son, that
His name is Jesus. His death is the only way that my sin could be paid for. Jesus paid it all, and I am now right with
God because of His being my substitute. Christ died for God, to satisfy God's righteousness, and God was satisfied with Christ.
I am His grateful disciple. I live and work for His honor.
Jesus Christ is my Savior, my King, my Master, my
reason for existence, my hope, my dream, my future, my everything. The deepest desire of my heart is to be useful to my Master.
I believe that God's children are called to live extraordinary lives for Christ.
The most important thing
in the world to me is falling more in love with Him every day, reading His Word--His love letter to us--telling others about
Him, and helping those in need.
I believe that taking our thoughts captive to Christ and shaping our worldview according to Biblical truths is crucial to honoring God and testifying to the life-changing power of His grace and His truth.
Because the
story of the Bible is all about Christ and His love, I want to help put it in the language of a group of people who desperately need to know but won't unless we tell them. I want to serve God wherever and however I can. My heart comes alive when I am serving others. If I could work in the mission field full-time right now, I would in a
heartbeat. Someday ...
My biggest dreams are to find my best friend and wife, raise kids to know and love the Lord, become a dance teacher, become a full-time photographer, become a birth doula, write books that help people rethink their worldview, to help the poor of this world using my life to meet their physical and spiritual
needs, and if the Lord opens up the doors, to help translate the Bible into language groups that don't yet have the Scriptures.
I love life and I love to learn. I feel like this
world is a playground for my mind. I love dancing! I have taken English country dancing classes, and am currently taking ballroom and salsa dance classes. I wish I'd started years ago! I often find myself tracing dance steps while I'm doing other things. I love the way I feel
when I'm dancing.
I live near Atlanta, Georgia. I am originally from Philadelphia.
I am a member
of Perimeter Church.
I am a graduate of Lancaster Bible College.

My testimony
My greatest passion in life is growing close to my Savior, Jesus Christ. He is my Lord, and everything I do
is ultimately for Him. My primary interest is to please Him in all I think, say, and do, to let Him live out the life He
has put in me. It is all of grace, and while I do not understand why He chose me, I am eternally grateful that He did. "'Tis
mercy all, immense and free."
I trusted Christ as my Savior when I was four. He never let go. I rededicated
my life to Him at age ten. God's mercy and grace have been my stronghold.
I know you don't always get the ending
you ask for, and I trust my Father's loving heart and awesome power. He may not be safe but He's good. I
really believe that. I have been to the edge and back, and I will always leave the darkness for the light. Even when all
hope seems gone, I know that He is in charge, and that He loves me, and has a plan for my life. I praise Him for using others
to build that foundation my life when I was young, so that when the storms came, the house of my heart was built on the
Rock.
I desire to commune intimately with God through Christ, who was my Go-Between, and to reach out to those
around me as a strong conduit of His love and grace.
I want to take the light into the heart of darkness. When
you bring struggles and sins out of the darkness and into the light, they lose their power. I want to apply that principle
to my own heart and share it with anyone who will listen.
I can't wait to fall at the feet of my King and hear
Him say that I am accepted in the Beloved and that I was faithful to what He called me to do.
What makes my life
complete is knowing that I have a relationship with God through Jesus. Whatever circumstance I am in, whether I feel great
or horrible, when I am on top of the world or ready to fall apart, when I want to laugh or want to cry, I know that at the
end of the road, there is a person who took all my punishment so that I can stand without fear of condemnation, and I know
I will live forever in the presence of my Savior. I can't wait for that family reunion.
I would like to be
a Bible translator, and at the very least help the poor. 30,000 kids die each day from poverty! I don't work in order to get
rich; I work in order to give it all away. Those 30,000 kids that die of hunger every day are God's kids. I want to help.
I am extremely ambitious about life--about what really matters in life. I believe I can and do and will change
the world.
I long to have a beautiful soul.

My
work
I am a licensed stock broker.
I own and operate
Abracadabra Photography. I love photography, and have other photos on my photo blog. I delight in every aspect of God's creation. I see beauty everywhere.
I am a writer. When I write, I feel God's pleasure. I am currently working on my next book, about the body, and several other books about
worldview and linguistics. I think it's important to have a great imagination and then sanctify it for God's use as we
put the gifts He gave us into good use, and it's been delightful to do that with writing. I have seen over the years how
God has taken my love of words, my desire to write, and my love of languages, and begun to use them for His glory.
I have been preparing to write my current book--about the body--for a long time. I am so thankful to God for bringing me to this place, where I can finally see the freedom and joy we're
supposed to have in being human and physical--and still glorifying to God. I wish someone had told me that there was another
way to view the body; I am still amazed that I've been a believer for many years and never once heard anyone talk about
the body in the ways I now do. I think the body is wonderful, is God's beautiful art, and I celebrate it and praise Him for
it.
I am collecting notes for at least 28 other books. I really love to write.
I worked for a contractor and eventually became a custom cabinetmaker for several years. I can build an entire house, and can fix almost anything you can break. I have always wanted to build
a log cabin, and someday I hope I will get to do it. I love the countryside and hope to live there someday. If I could build
a home anywhere, I would live in a cottage by the sea or a log cabin on a lake in the mountains.

For those who care to know
- I
am looking for a wife.
- I love the arts. I am enticed by music, dance,
color, design, and words--like a moth to a flame.
- I
love to learn. I love words so much that I literally study my dictionary, and have done so before for 12 hours straight. When
I see words, my mind does awesome things with them that most people couldn't imagine.
- I am fascinated by how the human body works and am in a process of looking very carefully
at how we view physical healthiness in our society.
- I speak French and some Spanish and have
studied some Japanese, German, Korean, Russian, Italian, pidgin English, koine Greek, ancient Hebrew, Latin, Gaelic, and
would love to really dig into some of them again and learn them well. I also studied a remote tribal language while in Papua
New Guinea. Fun stuff! I am fascinated by words and languages.
- I would love to be a Bible translator someday. There are over 2,500 languages that still need the Word of God
in their native, heart language.
- I think I was born
in the wrong era. I definitely belong in eras when elegance reigned, when chivalry in men was expected and femininity in
women was celebrated. When everyone grew up learning ballroom dancing and country dancing.
- I am left-handed. Yes, the ink smudges when I write.
- I believe men should be masculine and chivalrous and women should be feminine and ladylike.
- I go to bed when the sun goes down.
- I love photography. I take at least a handful of pictures every single day. You will frequently find me on the side of the road, stopping
to take pictures of a beautiful landscape or a sunset. I take a lot of pictures of skies. Part of it is that I love the beauty
of it; and part of is that I know who's coming through them soon--and I am eager to see His face.
- I am passionate about pursuing excellence (not perfection, but excellence) in all areas of
my life, for the glory of God.
- I am a dreamer. When
I dream, I feel God's pleasure.

I had a debt I couldn't pay. If He walked in the room, I would fall at His feet. I do not deserve that kind of mercy and
grace.

Anyone who is brave enough to look honestly at his or her belief system, and their community, and admit that major parts of
it may not be correct, and willing to take whatever steps necessary to be honest with the questions and answers he or she
comes up with.
- Anyone who is brave enough
to let others do that, even then they don't necessary agree.
